Questions:

  • What are your key takeaways in the 2020-2021 college admissions cycle? (for both UC/CSU and other colleges)
  • With the absence of SAT/ACT scores, what will become more important for college acceptances (e.g. GPA, extracurricular activities, etc.)?
  • How does AP class play in the admission consideration? The more the better? Is there a scoring system in UC admission for AP class?
  • Any suggestions on how to write the big essay in CommonApp? I have read about significant increases in government financial support for college education. For whom is that financial support available and how can it be accessed? Have there been any changes in financial support at private universities due to COVID-19?
  • Could you recommend any resources for college research?
